Our Programs

Bright Owlets Child Care & Learning Centre offers a play-based environment where children are able to explore the world based on their interest. Our activities provide many opportunities for children to learn self-help skills in a supportive environment. Our Early Childhood Educators are highly skilled in guiding the child to help with self-regulation, and emotional expression and helping to foster positive social relationships with each other.

Hours of Operation​​

Monday to Friday:  7:45 am – 5:30 pm

Centre will be closed on:

  • Statutory Holidays
  • Summer Break (2 weeks)
  • Winter Break (1 week)

Daily Schedule

  • 7:45 – 8:30: Arrival, Hand washing, Play (blocks, puzzles, art, sensory table, etc.)
  • 8:30 – 9:15: Hand washing, Snack time
  • 9:15 – 9:45: Getting ready for playing outside, Diaper change.
  • 9:45 – 10:45: Outside play: gross motor activities, nature walks, etc
  • 10:45 – 11:15: Hand washing, diaper change, Circle time, art and craft
  • 11:15 – 11:45: Hand washing and Lunch
  • 11:45 – 12:00: Quiet time, Story time
  • 12:00 – 12:45: Diaper check
  • 1:00 – 3:00: Nap time
  • 3:00 – 3:30: Toileting,Hand washing, & Snack time
  • 3:30 – 4:30: Outdoor/Indoor play activities
  • 4:30 – 5:00: Hand washing diaper change as needed
  • 5:00 – 5:30: Free play ( Games, coloring, Tabletop activities)
  • 5:30: Daycare closing time
